When kiddo got bitten by a mosquito!!!

Seems like her questionnaire preparation started from Day1 😁


It is not at all a big deal actually. She has got bitten by mosquitos like a thousand times or even more may be. They simply love her .

Anyhow it’s been a while since she got bitten by a mosquito, and recently when that happened, it opened up  a wide range of questions which I had  never  ever heard before.

Kiddo: Why do mosquitos bite us?


[ Looks like a simple one, but that was the trickiest of all. I should have answered that with more care, but I failed because I told the truth]

 

Kiddo: BLOOD!!! Blood is NOT food......!!!


Me: Yes, but mosquitos do drink our blood...


Kiddo: But it is my blood. Why do they drink my blood?


Me: May be they like you.


Kiddo: But they are naughty. I don't want to be their friend


Me: Okay. That’s fine.


Kiddo: But what games do mosquitoes play?


Me: Flying???


Kiddo: What toys do they have?!!!


And it went on and on and on. Time to take my pretend sleeping card. 


Lesson learnt: Think twice, may be thrice before telling the truth about mosquitoes to your preschooler.

Gowri and the Mysterious UFO

It was Christmas Eve, and Gowri could hardly contain her excitement. She had been eagerly waiting for her Christmas gift, but what she wanted most of all was to catch a glimpse of Santa himself. She had sent her letter to him weeks ago, and now, with the holiday finally here, she hoped that this would be the year she’d actually see him. But her excitement dimmed a little when her parents announced they were going to the mall that evening. 💕 A decade of togetherness 💕

           On our cousin's marriage -  11/05/2019 I wished for a partner , who takes care of me and protects me . Who does everything for me as someone takes care of a little girl... But whom I got doesn't do any of these , unless I am really sick!!!!  What he did is he made me capable of taking care of myself, to protect myself , to stand up for myself, to be independent …. And I love him more and more for that... Thank you universe for not giving me what I wished for...  And now I wish, when my little girl grows up she never wishes for the 1st category of life partner … I want her to realize that there is no handsome prince out there waiting to fill her life with full of love and happiness...
