Gowri and the Mysterious UFO

It was Christmas Eve, and Gowri could hardly contain her excitement. She had been eagerly waiting for her Christmas gift, but what she wanted most of all was to catch a glimpse of Santa himself. She had sent her letter to him weeks ago, and now, with the holiday finally here, she hoped that this would be the year she’d actually see him.

But her excitement dimmed a little when her parents announced they were going to the mall that evening. Gowri was disappointed because she thought that meant her chances of meeting Santa were slipping away. However, she didn’t want to spoil the fun, so she reluctantly agreed to go with them.

At the mall, though, Gowri soon found herself swept up in the festive cheer. The giant Christmas tree, twinkling with thousands of lights, and the beautiful decorations around the city made everything feel magical. They took lots of pictures to capture the memories of that enchanting evening.

While her dad was showing her a photo he’d taken, something in the background caught her eye. There, in the sky, was a strange glowing object. Her heart skipped a beat—she was sure it was a UFO! The thought of seeing an Unidentified Flying Object filled her with pure excitement.

She eagerly showed the photo to her mom, practically bouncing with joy. "Look, Mom! There it is! An UFO!!!It’s so clear!" She couldn’t wait to share it with her friends the next day. But then, a thought suddenly crossed her mind. "Wait, today is Christmas Eve… Santa flies through the sky in his sleigh with reindeer. Could that glowing object be him?"

Her parents exchanged a smile. “It could be,” they said. “Santa does travel the world on Christmas Eve, after all. Maybe that’s his sleigh making its way across the sky.”

Gowri’s heart raced. She was convinced that if it really was Santa, then her gift would be waiting for her at home. She could hardly wait to get back to her house.

When they finally arrived, Gowri rushed straight to the Christmas tree. And there, under the branches, was a beautifully wrapped gift—just for her! She screamed in joy and danced around, filled with pure happiness. Not only had she received her Christmas gift, but she had also seen Santa in the sky.

It truly was the best Christmas ever.
